St. Petersburg, FL to Florida City, FL

We continued on another long drive through the Scenic Highway 41 in Florida. It started off great blue sky and sun yet we did eventually find a storm cell for about 2 hours before returning to sun again. We are about 22 miles away from the Keys and will travel there for some sight seeing, shopping, and just mainly hanging out and enjoying the area. Prayers that there is sun and little to none raindrops.
One of the fun bridges we traveled along the way. Totally loved the line quality of this bridge.

Made a side trip to the old Donzi Marine ship warehouse. The recently moved to another location but a sign and a couple of pieces of equipment were visible from the street.
I am amazed to still see oak trees with Spanish moss in Florida. I thought I would see only Palm trees but the area is really lush on the scenic drive with many other trees and plans.
Love to see the shapes and patterns in reflective buildings in the city parts.
Saw this beautiful over 30 foot high sculpture based on the V-day photograph in Time Square taken by Alfred Eisensteadt of a sailor kissing a nurse. It was so nice to see this moment commemorated here in Florida.
Some of the areas we drove by reminded me of something in Africa. I was just waiting to see a giraffe or something come out but they never did. I did however see a alligator in one of the small water areas on the side of the road. No we did not get out of the car to take a closer look like other people did.
A storms a-coming again...
And it came and came.
Enjoyed shooting more pictures of the rian drops.
