LA to MI to AL to FL

This morning we spent a wonderful time with Alex's family. Cintra and I went to a local church service before having breakfast with the guys and packing the car up once again. It was so nice to simply go to church, sing some songs and get refreshed for the day. We made a couple of milestones today. First was we have traveled over 3,000 miles in the little blue mini cooper. Secondly we traveled through a total of four states - Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida. Decided to take a more scenic route per Alex's family suggestion throughout the state of Florida so we ventures to the city of Destin to walk around the piers, enjoy a beautiful sunset and get some sleep befor two days of heavy driving to come.

Lovely home we stayed at in New Orleans.
"Mississippi. Capital M - i - double - s - i - double - s - i - double - p - i Mississippi."
Stage version of Annie
Just love the trees along the drive.
Large church we passed along the way. Beautiful Steeple.
Welcome to Alabama. "Hi" to my cousins in the upper part of the state.
City building in Mobile.
Had fun playing with angles, light and perspective in a tunnel.

Large battle ships docked along the river.
Another's mirror perspective. Love those truck drivers.
We made it to the state of Florida. Finallly!!!
Amazingly beautiful sandy beaches. Oh no. No more sand after White Sands. I am still emptying sand out of my sneakers.
Little town of Destin where we stopped for the evening for a walk, dinner, a sunset, and a motel.
Favorite boat name I saw today.
Love shooting pictures of the wild birds here.

Sometimes the simplest things are the most beautiful. I loved just seeing these ropes/lines hanging along a boat. Got some knot tying you want to try?
