Pro-Bono Brochure & Flier for Zephyr Experience

Throughout the year lots of companies and organizations ask graphic designers and website designers to do pro-bono work for them. Sometimes you can afford to volunteer and other times you can't.

For the past four years I have been a member of the Zephyr Experience Committee. Zephyr Experience is a week long spiritual retreat held right on the shorelines of Lake Tahoe in Zephyr Cove. It is a wonderful week full of great classes, relaxing afternoons, fellowship and worship in the evenings.

For the past three years I have donated my services to design their marketing brochure and registration form both for print and email version. Below are images of this years designs. Enjoy and if you want to learn more about Zephyr Experience please let me know.

Painting Again

This summer I traveled for the 9th time to Yellowstone National Park. I was once again inspired by the beauty of the natural world taking tons of pictures of the sites, animals, geysers, and hot springs falling in love with the patterns, lines, and colors.

Well I have been itching to get into the studio, work through some new ideas, techniques, and colors. I was finally able to carve out some studio time there today to do some painting. Here is a new style I am experimenting with for my Persona Figure Study paintings. Enjoy.

Patterns, Lines, Colors - Abstract Series

Having so much fun shooting this series of the geysers and hot springs in Yellowstone. Finding lots of inspirations for some paintings. Will see if I can incorporate some of these patterns, lines, shapes, and colors!

Animals, Geysers, & Old Faithful

We saw Old Faithful go off a total of 3 times today. The most I have ever seen it in one day. Had a great little walk around the park and saw tons of smelly geysers and animals.
